KTL Marine Services (KTLMS) is incorporated in the U.A.E. and provides a wide range of inspection, certification and technical services to the offshore oil & gas, marine and civil construction industries for crane rope, heavy lift slings (steel & synthetic), shackles and high performance mooring lines. Our services provided are in compliance with major international standards and guidance documents such as API, ASME, BSEN, DNVGL, IMCA, LOLER, CI-1500 (for Synthetic ropes) and others.
KTLMS inspectors are trained and certified by various international accreditation organizations including LEEA, ANST and AWS. To complement their qualifications, our inspectors have many years of experience in their fields of competency. Our inspectors are also BOSEIT and HUET qualified for offshore work.
Some of the offshore services we provide are:
- Retrofitting of vessels from steel wire to HMPE (High Modulus PolyEthylene) mooring lines.
- Inspection of synthetic and steel heavy lift slings (up to MBL 10,000mt).
- Onboard inspection and certification services including visual inspection, non-destructive testing, load testing of lifting points and socketing of wire rope.
- Technical assistance and advice in the correct selection and use of lifting and rigging equipment during the planning stage of engineered lifts.
Our Lifting Engineers are qualified and competent possessing the required qualifications from Lifting Equipment Engineers Association.
Our team has excellent track record of installation of Steel wire ropes, synthetic mooring ropes, umbilical & submarine cables.
We offer training on Splicing activities on Synthetic rope and Heavy Lift slings and grommet technology. Inspection, Testing of Slings.
